PDA: People Disgust Alert

As a student and prowler of the college campus world, I have come across my fair share of PDA- prone situations. Trust me, they're not uncommon, especially at my university. Having been in a relationship, hand-holding and the occasional kiss can be endured and even accepted in the public arena. However, I am astounded by the recent surge in the number of PDA phenomenons. Let me elicit one example. In one study session, in one location on campus, I encountered two get-a-room happy couples (not to mention the various less obvious other pairs). In a public and popular studying and eating area on campus...unnecessary. Now, I do acknowledge the upcoming break, and for many couples a short separation and therefore need to get in as much lovin' as possible to survive the estrangement, but the mass population of people can only take so much. Lap-sitting. Sensual arm rubbing. Leg-groping. Call me bitter and jealous, but my eyes and ears can only take so much of the inconsiderate love-transactions of others. Truth.
